A little history…
As soon as you arrive you’ll be seduced by the authentic charm of this 350 years old guest house. It was built by a notary whose name became that of the Domaine. When we bought it and all the surrounding land in 2012, we decided to keep the structure but transform everything.
Over the period of more than 10 years work of the guest house progresse apace and today ou restate and guest rooms promise you a comfortable stay in a rafined atmosphère of tranquility.

Set up in the large common room, with its panoramic view that promises to be a great place to get away from it all, you'll be offered a choice of hot comforting beverages
These are accompanied by a variety oflocal breads, cake, jams, homemade rice pudding.
To fill up on vitamins, we offer fruits salad and local fruit juice.
You prefer a salty touch ? Hélène has thought of you too offering local cheese and homemade charcuterie.
If weather permits , you can enjoy breakfast in a pool-house near the swimming pool where the lapping of the water will gently wake you up.

Originally from Bourdeaux, Hélène specialized in the hotel and restaurant business from an early age, putting her expertise to the test for over 10 years in various Michelin-starred establishments in the South-East of France. When their 2 children were born, she joined her husband Fabien in his renovation business in 2003, taking charge of administration and accounting.
Fabien was born in Crupies. He trained as an agricultural mechanic before turning to masonry. He honed his skills with several employers before setting up in 1996 as a mason specializing in stone renovation. He hired up to 15 employees. He renovates a large number of the canton's old buildings, and works for the Bâtiments de France. His clientele is upmarket, with high standards and a love of a job well done.
The 2020s marked a radical change in professional life for Hélène and Fabien. Their project to create a bed and breakfast slowly took shape. Fabien stopped working in 2022 to help his son, who had been a cattle farmer in the village since 2020. At the same time, he renovated the building that would become Domaine de Chabanne.
Together, and drawing on their respective experience and know-how, they worked tirelessly to bring this extraordinary place to life, where you can relax and recharge your batteries. Today, they are proud and happy to have turned the site into a sublime place with breathtaking views and top-of-the-range amenities, where the watchword is absolute calm.

Their trump card ? Being both natives of the region for several generations. For Hélène and Fabien, the region holds no secrets, and they'll be delighted to tell you all about its history and attractions.
